Making Organic Accessible

With 41% of children in the U.S. living in low-income homes, changing the trajectory of children’s health through nutrition meant making premium, organic food accessible to all families.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC*) provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant and postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.**

*WIC is a registered service mark of the U.S. Department of Agriculture for USDA's Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children.

Reaching More Children

Since 2018, we have been advocating for the inclusion of organic baby food through WIC’s program, and our products are now carried in 36 of the 39 states that allow organic.

We are incredibly proud to have developed our Happy Baby Organics Clearly Crafted Jars to meet WIC standards—our products are now available to over 4 million participants in the WIC program. We will continue to advocate and educate, to give every family the chance to nourish their children with quality ingredients.
